Who am I?

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’ve been a registered dental hygienist since 2009 when I received my Bachelors in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. I finished my Myofunctional Training in December 2022.

Continuing education and personal need drew me into the field of myofunctional therapy. Once I learned of the connection between the tongue, airway, sleep and whole-body health, I’ve never looked back as it resonates so deeply with me as both a mother and healthcare provider.

I struggled SO bad breastfeeding my babies—and nobody seemed to care let alone know how to recognize the real issues at hand [One of my boys ended up in an orthotic helmet due to a missed tongue-tie].

Hindsight is 20/20. And now I am taking that hindsight and my newfound passion to mothers, caregivers and fellow healthcare providers everywhere.

So welcome! Let’s talk all things airway, tongue-tie, sleep, and oral function in order to better our bodies by getting to those root causes once and for all. I am so glad you’re here.
